Wallflex panel is a structural panel made by aluminum, internationally patented, characterized both by optimal mechanical resistance, rigidity and strength and by lightness and high workability. Furthermore, Wallflex panel keeps an excellent flatness even with large dimensions.
These features make the structural Wallflex panel ideal for a wide range of uses and final applications.
Wallflex panel is non combustible MED certified, key factor for ship building. Besides, it is not subject to metallic corrosion and it is characterized by a good thermal conductivity.
Wallflex panel is 100% recyclable without previous component separation, as it is made almost essentially by aluminum.
Structural Wallflex standard panel is composed by two aluminum sheets, called “layers”, among which is posed a corrugated aluminum core. This structural composition makes Wallflex panel strong and resistant, with static performances almost equal to ones of an aluminum solid, but at the same time more lightweight (up to 80%).
The internal core is characterized by a trapezoidal section and by reinforcing embossments; these features make the panel unique in its structure and guarantee an exceptional compression and flexion mechanical resistance.
Structural Wallflex panel has an excellent workability through standard tools similar to ones used for wood working.

TECHNICAL DATA
WALLFLEX FLAT PANEL
Wallflex flat panel is a structural panel, very lightweight and, at the same time, strong and resistant, made by two external aluminum layers and an aluminum corrugated core. Wallflex flat panel is obtained through gluing the two layers to the corrugated core, using a bi-component polyurethane glue and subsequent pressing.
- The internal corrugation is usually parallel to the panel width. On request, to increase the rigidity, the corrugation can be disposed orthogonally to the panel width
- Nominal thicknesses available: 3 – 4 – 6 – 8 – 10 – 15 – 18 – 20 – 25 – 28 mm
- Corrugated core thickness: 0.3 mm
- External layers thickness: from 0.3 mm up to 1 mm
- Standard sizes: width 1020 mm, 1250 mm, 1500 mm; length from 2000 mm up to 4000 mm
- Non standard dimensions and thicknesses available on request

WALLFLEX MONOLAYER
Wallflex monolayer is a strong, resistant, lightweight and flexible panel, made by one aluminum layer coupled with an aluminum corrugated core. It is obtained through gluing the layer to the corrugated core using a bi-component polyurethane glue and subsequent pressing.
Wallflex monolayer is workable through standard tools similar to ones for wood working.
Wallflex monolayer flexibility allows the realization of curved elements, bended orthogonally to the corrugated core, keeping the panel flexible.

WALLFLEX SHAPED
Structural Wallflex shaped panel is obtained through gluing a flat layer to the corrugated core using a bi-component polyurethane glue (thus realizing Wallflex monolayer); then follows the bending of the Wallflex monolayer panel through specific custom made templates. Finally, there is the gluing of the second external layer to the free side of the corrugated core, obtaining Wallflex shaped panel.
Wallflex shaped panel’s versatility allows the realization of curved elements, included rail containers, naval prop covers, columns covers, façade cladding and ceilings with special shapes.

WALLFLEX SOUND-ABSORBING PANEL
Wallflex sound-absorbing panel is characterized by a specific surface micro-puncture on one of the two aluminum layers, able to absorb acoustic waves and to limit their propagation in the surrounding environment.
This sound-absorbing panel uses the Helmholtz resonance principle and, unlike the other traditional sound-absorbing panels, sound waves absorption takes place thanks to the very structure of the panel. This allows to limit panel’s weight and volume, guaranteeing lightness, strength and ease of installation.
Wallflex sound-absorbing panel is particularly suitable for those environments in which acoustic quality is important, like cinemas, concert halls, conference halls, theaters, …
